  2. hi ... i have been following the changelog for cyanogenmod from its 7.1 n flashed each of the version .... really ... hats off to the developers ... they are on constant upgradation and giving new features to control our phones ... in my opinion among all the roms available for mini...cyanogen rocks.... and more over thanks to u yagya for making all the process of flashing so easy .... keep up the gr8 work..... lastly one question ..... what is dalvik cache and what is the consequencies of wiping it??

  3. It is supposed to function like Sleep in Windows PC. It closes unnecessary apps and only uses minimum power to operate for prolonged battery life. It's an experimental feature alright so just play with and see if you can find any differences.

  4. Yes, flashing one by one is the best method to test two roms. You can backup your current rom and then flash one and use it for a day or while (don't spend much time on configuration if you feel it tedious or you can configure it to your choice and then use it for some while and backup it too ). After that again flash another and see if you like it. If not restore any of the two previous backup you like the most. If you like it you can stay with it. I would recommend RC5.7 to Music mix since it has more features. But, music mix has good look and is smooth too. So, choice rests upon you.

  12. Battery Icon is there alright. You can manage it in Settings>>CM Settings>>Interface>>Status Bar Tweaks option. In my case the green bar is battery.

  13. I'm not sure which problem do you mean by camera rotating error. However, even if there is some error like that MIUI camera can easily help you solve the problem and capture great pictures.

  14. I think these screenshots are enough to know the details of Cyanogen Mod RC5.7. Other part of the rom is just similar to previous CM 7.2 RC versions so please view their screenshots. Except for the new options or features the UI is quite same in all CyanogenMod roms (that is unless you install a theme :D)

  16. hi yagya ,, in cyanogenmod rc 5.6  camera is giving output  3gp video instead of mp4  why>? and little bit rough quality??
and another thing is that when i spin my phone to  180 degree my music starts automatically while screen is on??>>> please suggest me how to stop this..

    ReplyDelete
  17. Check settings and see if there's option to change extension to mp4 (the default might be 3gp). Also, you can use some other camera app if you want mp4 video.

About your rotation bug, I checked it and couldn't find any problem with me. For me rotation is working fine and no music starts automatically. Maybe your settings are just wrong. If it's a big problem then doing a factory reset might help... otherwise who would want to use a device in 180 rotation so, just forget about it.

  18. No Mobile Network:

    Galaxy Mini

I had Cyanmobile Initial A installed, it had bugs, so restored CM7 RC 5.7 and since then I have 'No mobile Network'. I even reflashed CM7 RC 5.7, I also formatted system through CWM, Nothing works.
Currently in CM7 RC 5.7. What do I do? Should I reflash stock 2.3.4? Will it solve modem problem? Coz Stock firmware has MODEM file in it, when flashing with ODIN.Please I need your help. I live in India so its Galaxy pop.

    ReplyDelete
  29. You can get Honeycomb lock-screen in CyanogenMod Settings=>Lockscreen=>Lock-screen Style and select Honeycomb.

    ReplyDelete
  30. You can do all from CyanogenMod Settings=>Tablet Tweaks. Play with different settings there.

  31. Does this have support for Indian languages? Gingerbread update for Samsung galaxy mini supported many Indian languages!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I don't think it renders indic fonts properly. Try latest CyanMobile rom, which supports all unicodes and renders them properly.

  33. i am not able to see the clock next to the battery.... any hint to make it visible???

  36. i already updated my galaxy mini to cyanogenmod 7.2 rc 5.7 and its really smooth and fast. except for two things the adw launcher preinstalled crashes during autorotation on landscape and its korean language is nothing but boxes... i managed to solve the launcher by incorporating my own adw apk... i wanted to know how to solve the korean character problem... please help... thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  37. For korean characters, you can try Arial Unicode MS font posted here. Also, cyanmobile latest version has fix the issues, so you can give it a try once. It supports many Unicode characters and probably Korean too.
