• Samsung USB Drivers : The latest versions of USB drivers for your galaxy ace. If you don't have Samsung Kies installed then you will need to install these drivers to connect your device with your PC for charging as well as USB Mass Storage (mounting your sd-card to PC).

2. Cyanogen Mod 9/ICS based Roms

• CM9 RC0 GalaxyICS Kang Alpha 3 (cm9_galaxyics-ace-ota-eng.maju-alpha3.zip) : Latest CM9 rom GalaxyICS KANG Alpha3 for galaxy ace.

• Cyanogen Mod 9 : Custom rom based on Cyanogen Mod 9 by CM Team. Gone through many alpha and beta versions this roms seems quite stable and works fine for the most parts. You can find detailed instructions at this article.
• Legacy7.zip : CM9 Legacy build based on Android 4.0.1 with all fixes included and working pretty fine. The most stable of other versions.
• CM9 FIX KING.zip : Cyanogen Mod 9 Beta 1 (released January 4, 2012). Everything is working quite well except for camera and radio. If you are not satisfied with Legacy build then try this.
• alpha13_3.zip : Alpha 13 with phone dailer crash fixed, keyboard fix reverted, all sensors are fixed (orientations, magnetic, proximity, accelerometer), DSP Manager crash fixes.
• ICS Stock v2 (ICSStock v2.zip) : A GB 2.3.6 based stock rom themed to look like Ice Cream Sandwich along with some of the features from Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.

3. MIUI4 Roms

MIUI4 is a beta version of MIUI rom based on latest Android 4.0.3 - Ice Cream Sandwich. It features richer themes and better user experience. Some of it's cool features includes Smart Dialer, 

• MIUI4 v2.2.17 [Beta 2] : Beta 2 of MIUI4 rom. It is based on CM9 for ace so it inherits most of the features as well as bugs from the rom. 
• MIUI.zip : Extract using the pass teammiui and get miuibeta2.zip before you flash it on your galaxy ace.
