Latest Clockwork Mod Recovery v5.0.2.6 For Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 Flashable Via Recovery.

This post is an update to my previous post, "Clockwork Mod Recovery v4.0.0.9 For Galaxy Ace GT-S5830", which I wrote few days ago in the same process of keeping galaxy ace user updated.

So, in this article, you aren't getting much than in the previous one except for a new, bug-fixed and improved custom recovery for your little galaxy ace. This new recovery is an update to clockwork mod recovery and has reached the version So, without delay, get ready to upgrade your recovery to the latest one. 2. Copy the downloaded file to (the root-directory of) your sd-card.

3. Power off your phone (using Power button).

4. Boot up your galaxy ace to recovery mode (Press Home + Power Button).

5. Select Update Zip From SD-Card option. [If you are on previous version of CWM recovery then you might need to select Install Zip From SD Card and then Choose Zip From SD Card Option simultaneously. ]

6. Choose the file (named : you downloaded earlier. (Note :- Use Home button to select).

7. After it finishes installing the zip file, reboot your device.

That's all. You have successfully update your new recovery and by now any errors you had with your previous version of recovery might have been fixed.You can reboot to the recovery mod and have a look at you new recovery.   2. Can't you read the title? It clearly states that this CWM recovery is for Galaxy Ace smartphone.

  6. While this article is old, some of us are still using these. I found this version does not appear to be an official Clockworkmod recovery, but rather "based on" CWM recovery. That makes me wonder about the differences - was there some reference to why this wasn't officially CWM and what things changed/bugs fixed and who did it? I'm interested to know if you have any references. Thanks for the articles.
