MIUI Gingerbread RC3 For Galaxy Ace GT-S5830

MIUI is an aftermarket firmware for cellphones based on open source Android Operating system and is developed by Xiaomi Tech, a Chinese manufacturing company. It features better user experience and richer themes which makes it appealing for everyone's eyes. It includes a heavily-modified user interface similar to that of Apple's iOS and other features such as toggles on notification drawer, Smart contact predictive dialer and many others. While MIUI was originally developed as closed-source software, it went to an open-source development model few months ago back in February. This switch hence, made it possible for independent developers to port unofficial versions to various range of android smartphones and this is how Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 gets MIUI Gingerbread.

MIUI Gingerbread for Galaxy Ace is an innovative port of a young developer, nims11 and thanks to him this rom has been refined with many fixes and user-interface improvements to better suit the screen of Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 smartphone. The main attraction of MIUI is it's beautiful look and appearance which can appeal the eyes of any user. With features such as Smart Predictive T9 dialer, MIUI Theme chooser and a bundle of MIUI customized apps such as MIUI Music, MIUI camera and MIUI messaging app, MIUI stands out among the competition as one of the best android roms.

There's nothing much to say about this rom. As for RC3 of MIUI Gingerbread 2.3.7 rom, the developer has worked hard so as to make almost everything working. While most parts of the roms work great and it can be used for daily activities, it still has much way to go before it can reach perfection. With this rom, whenever you apply a dark theme, the values of Settings is not changed rendering an unseen-able list of settings. So, developer suggest not to use any kind of darker themes for now. Also, another quickly notable bug is the reboot of system whenever you connect to mass usb storage. To overcome this problem, simply go to clockwork mod recovery and then, select Mounts And Storage => Mount USB Storage and then use it to transfer files and data. When you are done, Unmount USB Storage and reboot to system.
