Note : Those who have Gingerbread OS and any Custom Recovery installed on their device can skip Step 1 and Step 2. Also, those who have any custom rom installed can skip both Step 1 and 2.
- Upgrade your firmware to Gingerbread using Odin Multidownloader v4.38
- Install any custom recovery available for Samsung Galaxy Mini/Pop. You may either have Clock Work Mod Recovery or RZ Recovery -- any is fine.
- Download latest cyanmobile release (update-CyanMobile-reVo-A-GalaxyMini-20120608-Release.zip) from here (Edit : Latest update available at the bottom, it is recommended to download the latest one).
- Copy all the downloaded files to the (root directory of) your sd-card.
- Reboot your device to Custom Recovery (Press Home + Power Button).
- [Optional but, Recommended] Do a Nandroid Backup of your current rom.
- Now flash this latest Cyanmobile reVo A on clockwork mod recovery. Follow the steps below :
- Choose Install Zip From Sd Card >> Choose Zip From SD Card option and then select the update-CyanMobile-reVo-A-GalaxyMini-20120608-Release.zip file which you downloaded in step 3.
- Note : If you are using RZ Recovery, choose Install Menu >> Select update-CyanMobile-reVo-A-GalaxyMini-20120608-Release.zip >> Select Wipe Data and Wipe Cache >> Choose Install update-CyanMobile-reVo-A-GalaxyMini-20120608-Release.zip and wait till the zip is installed.
- Choose Install Zip From Sd Card >> Choose Zip From SD Card option and then select the update-CyanMobile-reVo-A-GalaxyMini-20120608-Release.zip file which you downloaded in step 3.
- When you've flashed the rom, Wipe Data from recovery menu.
- Reboot your device from your recovery main menu.
- Wait for few minutes till the device boots up.
- Now go back to recovery again and flash latest official Google Apps (gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip). You can find detailed instructions at this article.
- When done reboot and enjoy.
