[Update] CyanMobile reVo A 20120608 Update For Galaxy Mini or Pop GT-S5570

CyanMobile revolution A is a modified rom based on the famous CyanogenMod 7.2 android firmware. It packs many new features and tweaks, redesigned settings layout and UOT kitchen modified ICS theme giving it the look similar to that of CyanogenMod 9 builds while still keeping the features and stability of CM7 builds  intact. Since the release first release of cyanmobile rom, this custom rom has gone through various changes and improvements reaching the height on which it lies today. Compared to official cyanogen mod 7.2 RC1, CyanMobile offers a rich set of customization options that completely leverage the full control of the handset to its user. With this rom you can customize look and feel of any parts of rom as well as access rich set of accessibility options that will simplify the tasks which you perform daily with your device.

While cyanmobile supports quite few Samsung handsets including Galaxy Ace, Fit, Gio and few others, in this article we are concerned about Cyanmobile reVo A for Galaxy Mini S5570 smartphone. Other smartphone owners can get their release from squadzone.org.

With the latest Cyanmobile reVo A released on 2012-06-03, these rich set of features that were introduced back in April are refined and improved to increase the overall performance the rom. The developer, squadzone, has not only refined the previous release. There are new features introduced too. The inbuilt app2sd feature that let's you use sd-ext partition to install apps and data is really a big help for smartphones like Galaxy Mini, that have very low internal memory. Many users have anticipated such built in a2sd script and they most be really happy after this release. You can initiate this feature from Settings >> Development >> and checking Mount SD-Ext on boot and Enable Data2sd options and reboot your device.

Note : Those who have Gingerbread OS and any Custom Recovery installed on their device can skip Step 1 and Step 2. Also, those who have any custom rom installed can skip both Step 1 and 2.
  1. Upgrade your firmware to Gingerbread using Odin Multidownloader v4.38
  2. Install any custom recovery available for Samsung Galaxy Mini/Pop. You may either have Clock Work Mod Recovery or RZ Recovery -- any is fine.
  3. Download latest cyanmobile release (update-CyanMobile-reVo-A-GalaxyMini-20120608-Release.zip) from here (Edit : Latest update available at the bottom, it is recommended to download the latest one).
  4. Copy all the downloaded files to the (root directory of) your sd-card.
  5. Reboot your device to Custom Recovery (Press Home + Power Button).
  6. [Optional but, Recommended] Do a Nandroid Backup of your current rom.
  7. Now flash this latest Cyanmobile reVo A on clockwork mod recovery. Follow the steps below :
    • Choose Install Zip From Sd Card >> Choose Zip From SD Card option and then select the update-CyanMobile-reVo-A-GalaxyMini-20120608-Release.zip file which you downloaded in step 3.
    • Note : If you are using RZ Recovery, choose Install Menu >> Select update-CyanMobile-reVo-A-GalaxyMini-20120608-Release.zip >> Select Wipe Data and Wipe Cache >> Choose Install update-CyanMobile-reVo-A-GalaxyMini-20120608-Release.zip and wait till the zip is installed.
  8. When you've flashed the rom, Wipe Data from recovery menu. 
  9. Reboot your device from your recovery main menu.
  10. Wait for few minutes till the device boots up.
  11. Now go back to recovery again and flash latest official Google Apps (gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip). You can find detailed instructions at this article.
  12. When done reboot and enjoy.
UPDATES!!! 2012/06/13
    That's all. Now that you've flashed both the rom and the gapps zips in clockwork mod recovery, you're ready to use your handset. As I said above, it'll take quite some time before you can dig through all the features available in this rom. So, go ahead and take all time you need to explorer through the rom and enjoy it.       Good job its very good thinking included the apps2sd inbuilt its owsom feature we are thinking about our memory of handset limited this feature is very helpful for us thanks to developer and YAGYA GAIRE THANKS TO ALL
